Focusing on the mobility supply chain, he learned the hard way that move pricing is complicated, unclear, and vulnerable to manipulation. After evaluating all existing alternatives, Ben partnered with Ryan to make it easy to buy a quality move at a fair price.

After years of experiencing the pain of pricing international moves, we knew there had to be a better way.
The status quo didn’t sit right with our founder, Ryan Keintz. From a career managing international pricing for two large global movers, Ryan observed that price manipulation was a more critical success factor than customer service or logistical expertise. Lack of connection between movers made pricing tedious, complicated, and slow. Worse, inadequate procurement models and a lack of standards incentivized movers to play pricing games to win business.
Ryan realized that a level playing field that rewarded excellence rather than price exploitation could only be achieved if the vulnerabilities were eliminated. He launched PricePoint in 2011 to change an industry.
Ben Heller ran Accenture’s global mobility consulting practice. Responsible for more than 50 clients’ mobility supply chains, he learned the hard way it is not reasonably possible to ensure clients receive quality moves at a fair price. The existing methods to control move pricing were flawed – increasing the overhead to movers, adding costs to clients, and inconveniencing transferees. There had to be a better way.
